What You Will Do

• Conduct both routine and advanced laboratory testsranging from chemistry to immunologywhile following established protocols.
• Analyze testing outcomes for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform essential maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and ensure correct preparation of samples for analysis as necessary.
• Keep detailed records of all procedures, assist in training newcomers, and support the maintenance of lab quality standards.
• Ensure a well-organized and safe working environment compliant with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or related allied health discipline, plus ASCP/AMT certification pending.

Certifications Needed

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification during your tenure.
