Responsibilities Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicate effectively with the team; and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas. Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food‑safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance and inventory management; operate, maintain and sanitize equipment; and demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience and elevate associate engagement; utilize hand‑held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pickup orders, training and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the area; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date‑control standards; eliminate waste; provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member's needs; assist members with purchasing decisions, payment types and locating merchandise; and resolve member issues and concerns. Be a Talent Ambassador: Act as a brand advocate; develop, influence and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive and team‑oriented style; understand roadblocks and assist in training them. Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in executing business processes and practices. Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties and feedback. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Successfully complete all required training and assessments within the prescribed time period if hired. Preferred Qualifications Food Safety Certification. Food Service experience. Food Handler Certification (Food Safety). Employment Information The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed.
