Job Description

General Services Administration (GSA) manages Wake County owned and leased facilities, the Wake County fleet, provides criminal justice support, and supports a number of General Government business units. The Basics (Required Education and Experience)

Beyond the Basics (Preferred Education and Experience)

• Experience in building automation systems.
• Graduate of a HVAC technical school.

How Will We Know You're 'The One'?

• Strong knowledge base and experience with commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, cooling towers, boilers, drives, VAV boxes, pumps, and motors.
• Experience in HVAC preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Extensive knowledge of personal computers, including Windows-based programs, spreadsheets, and database software.
• Working knowledge of plant control strategies and ability to diagnose these systems.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and PPE to conform with OSHA requirements.
• Ability to obtain a NC H3 mechanical license.

Market Range: 26.16 - 37.81
