Pricing Analyst

Essential Duties And Responsibilities Manage all aspects of pricing, including quoting, price adjustments, prototype-to-production requests, raw material agreements, deductions, accrual communications, and production setup. Ensure timely, accurate, and profitable quote delivery, including tracking and evaluation, while aligning with overall business objectives. Collaborate with sales, customer service, marketing, engineering, and cross-functional teams to develop and execute competitive pricing strategies. Translate and analyze complex data into actionable strategies that drive sales growth, enhance profit margins, and support business decisions. Manage the process of Engine Hose and Power Transmission product line, including interpretation of customer blueprints, creation of master specifications, and coordination across multiple specification systems. Evaluate internal and customer requests with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industry standards to ensure feasibility. Identify and challenge inconsistencies in customer requests, providing recommendations and solutions that balance customer objectives with company goals. Requirements And Preferred Skills BS/BA or equivalent (4 years of experience) with 1 year of pricing experience. Fundamental understanding of business principles, pricing strategies, and financial metrics, with the ability to manage detail-oriented projects and adapt to changing priorities. Self-motivated, with a focus on identifying quality solutions and continuously improving processes while prioritizing business needs. Strong analytical skills with a talent for data analysis and problem-solving. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite with proficiency in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Oracle/SAP and a pricing system is a plus Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and contribute within a cross-functional team environment.
