Lead, Materials Control
$29.33 - $37.98 per hourBiogen Inc
Lead a warehouse team of 6–10 employees at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, overseeing inventory control, receiving, and shipping operations in a cGMP environment. Manage daily materials movement, coordinate cross-functional support for production timelines, and drive compliance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse receiving, shipping, and inventory control activities
- Coordinate team workload to maintain efficiency and meet production schedules
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and resolve cycle count variances
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, QC, and Planning teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure GxP compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and minimum 1 year relevant experience, or Associate's degree and 3+ years, or high school diploma and 5+ years in materials management
- Cycle count program and inventory audit experience
- Warehouse operations leadership experience
- Forklift experience or ability to be trained
- Strong communication and team coordination skills
- Safety and quality focus with ability to maintain compliance
- GMP environment experience preferred
Compensation: $29.33–$37.98 per hour
