Lead Receptionist

Job Details Location: 11-Litton - Grass Valley, CA 95945 Position Type: Full Time - Hourly Salary Range: $23.00 - $26.00 hourly Job Shift: Day Western Sierra Medical Clinic is an engaging, enthusiastic, mission driven organization dedicated to providing high‑quality primary care to all members of our community. This includes the delivery of evidence‑based preventative care, chronic disease management, and addressing urgent care needs as indicated for our pediatric and adult patient population. General Statement of Duties (this list may not include all of the duties assigned.) Demonstrates advanced skills in the use of the EMR; can teach EMR skills in all areas of practice. Provide back‑up support for the receptionist team. Assist with the training and supervision of assigned receptionist staff. Works collaboratively with clinic staff on programs to improve patient outcomes. Assists in organizing and participating in quality improvement activities to improve systems/services. Evaluate situations that may lead to errors or miscommunication and know how to correctly intervene and report. Perform other administrative tasks and clinical care as assigned by the Clinic Manager. Assist receptionist staff with issues, training, education, and mentoring. Verify insurance and demographics with patient and collect any co‑pay or balance due. Run eligibility for upcoming appointments and complete confirmation calls within two days of the scheduled appointment. Answer patient questions and concerns regarding billing. Collect and post payments according to patient accounts for co‑pays and cash payments. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications 2 years experience as a receptionist or in a customer service‑related field. Ability to type 45 wpm. Desired Experience Familiarity with an electronic practice management (EMR) system. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
