Job Description Shop Foreman needed for Spartanburg, SC.
The shop foreman serves as the primary link between the office, including management, engineering, sales, and HR, and the shop floor. Required:
• Receiving drawing packages and job assignments from the office
• Ensuring jobs are completed accurately and on schedule
• Quality Control
• Making sure shop employees have sufficient work and remain productive
• Resolving production issues as they arise
• Working actively in the shop and supporting employees wherever needed
• Interviewing candidates for open shop positions
• Communicating with employees regarding work schedules, overtime, and PTO
• Maintaining required DEHEC documentation
• Assisting engineering and sales with job quotes by estimating the shop time required to fabricate parts Hours-5:30am-2pm/OT available
The shop foreman is expected to be the first person in the shop and the last one to leave. Direct Hire
Salary-$80,000+ depending on experience

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Foreman (looking for 10-20 years' minimum on the shop floor as a whole)
- Experience in manufacturing
- Knowledge of Mills, Lathes, and CNC equipment
- Supervisory experience
• Receiving drawing packages and job assignments from the office
• Ensuring jobs are completed accurately and on schedule
• Quality Control
• Making sure shop employees have sufficient work and remain productive
• Resolving production issues as they arise
• Working actively in the shop and supporting employees wherever needed
