Travel NICU/PICU Respiratory Therapist - $1,269 per week

Job Description and Requirements Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 05/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 hours Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel We\'re looking for Respiratory Care professionals for an immediate travel position opening in Miami, FL. The right RT should have 1 year of recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines. Responsibilities Administer to patients a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities. Maintain appropriate patient records/documentation. Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories. Evaluate equipment for proper and safe function. Report malfunctions to director. Perform arterial puncture and analyze sample according to procedure guidelines. Interact with co-workers, nurses, physicians, other hospital personnel to optimize continuum of care for patient being treated. Respond to emergent situations that could require respiratory support. Qualifications Experience: 1 year of acute care experience preferred. Certifications: BLS, RRT, ACLS, NBRC. PALS and NRP may be required in some areas.
