Description
American Traveler is seeking a Night Shift MRI Technologist with ARRT (MR) certification and at least 2 years of experience for a Level 2 trauma acute care facility.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with Level 2 trauma designation
- MRI department with 1 procedure room
- Performs MRI scans for both adult and pediatric patients
- Utilizes Philips Ingenia 1.5T scanner, Med Rad Spectris Solaris Injector, Omnicell, and FUJI PACS
- EPIC EMR system used for charting
- 13-week contract assignment
- Night shift schedule, either M-F 10p-6a or Sun-Wed 10p-8am
- May work independently at times without direct supervision
- No floating to other units required
Requirements
- ARRT (MR) certification required
- BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- Must be able to independently apply appropriate MRI scanning techniques for diagnostic purposes
- Responsible for screening patients and objects for magnet safety
Additional Information
- Performs MRI procedures according to radiologist-established protocols with a high degree of independent judgment
- Responsible for designated area and all procedures performed within it
- Black scrubs required as part of dress code
- COVID-19 vaccination required, with medical or religious exemption forms available for review
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel consideration
- Former WVU Medicine employees must have a 2-year break before reapplying
- Travelers are limited to a cumulative 1 year within the WVU system before requiring a 2-year break
