As a Armed Security Officer - Tactical in Mesa, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, supervisors, and/or local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and support the control of entry and exit for employees, visitors, deliveries, and/or vehicles in accordance with site protocols.
- Maintain readiness and accountability for assigned armed post equipment, complete required reports, and follow Allied Universal standards for use of force, escalation, and incident response.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card/license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
