Data Science Manager

Leading a small team, the full-time Data Science Manager will develop and deliver machine learning and AI solutions for Claims use cases while providing technical leadership and managing projects in a hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities: Manages a team of data scientists and data engineers to create and maintain machine learning and AI solutions for the Claims organization Communicates project progress, insights, and recommendations to business partners and senior leadership Collaborates with Data Engineering, IT, and business partners to operationalize machine learning and AI solutions Required qualifications: Graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related STEM field with 6-8 years of experience in a data science/analytics environment PhD in a relevant field preferred with 4-6 years of experience in data science or AI Prior experience mentoring or managing talent Experience developing and deploying predictive models into production Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
