Electronics Technician

Contract Electronics Assembly TechnicianDuties & Responsibilities:• Directly interfaces with and proactively supports Engineers, Project Managers, and Quality Assurance Manager.• Electronic and mechanical assembly.• Installs components, units, and printed circuit boards following specifications.• Use electronic, hand, power, and pneumatic tools.• Customizes, adjusts, or repairs units according to written specifications.• Fabricates parts, cables, and test fixtures.• Supports Quality Assurance with receiving inspection and testing, and shipping.• Acceptance testing of products according to approved procedures.Skills:pcb assembly, electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, ipc 610, power tool, cabling, harness assembly, Assembly, technical drawing, test equipment, oscilloscope, microscopeTop Skills Details:pcb assembly, electronic assembly, mechanical assembly, ipc 610Additional Skills & Qualifications:• Associate's degree in electronics preferred.• 5 years of related technical experience.• Excellent soldering skills with surface-mounted components.• IPC-A-610 certification required.• Excellent troubleshooting skills.• Experience using electronic test equipment such as a multimeter, signal generator, oscilloscope, and audio analyzer.• Solid computer & typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.• Able to work well independently and as a member of a team.• Organization and ability to prioritize multiple projects and assignments.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Experience with and able to use hand tools and small power tools.• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.• Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR and EAR (i.e., U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or protected individual such as a refugee or asylee).Experience Level:Intermediate LevelJob Type & Location:This is a Contract position based out of Falls Church, VA.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
