Member Team Lead

Position Summary Assists management with the supervision of associates in an assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals, providing training and feedback, and ensuring member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines. Supports the Open Door Policy and participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, coaching, and evaluating associates. Communicates and supports membership by providing information on membership types, programs, and benefits, processing memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts, encouraging renewals, and participating in sales and marketing events. Provides and ensures member service by acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and supporting self‑service technology. Oversees the area of responsibility by handling claims and returns, zoning merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, maintaining the availability of carts and flatbeds, assisting members with transportation, and maintaining parking lot cleanliness. Completes accounting records, file transactions, and other required documentation, provides funds for proper register operation, creates and interprets financial analysis reports, and assists with accounting‑related investigations. Develops, communicates, and implements processes to meet business needs, monitors progress and results, and identifies improvement opportunities. Demonstrates compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; promotes an environment of accountability and an understanding of the Open Door Policy. Leads and participates in teams, shares resources and information, prioritizes customer needs, coordinates work assignments, and provides advice and feedback to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved. Fosters a culture of belonging by embracing differences, building strong relationships, and supporting the development and mentoring of others.
