Shifts: 7am - 7pm, 3 twelve-hour shifts per week


Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Pediatrics for a travel assignment in Fort Wayne, IN. This role focuses on providing comprehensive care for pediatric patients aged 3 days to 18 years in an acute care environment. The pediatric unit consists of 28 beds and requires a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, ensuring optimal patient care and safety. Familiarity with EPIC charting system and Pyxis medication systems is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Pediatrics - Travel

• Provide care for pediatric patients with a variety of conditions, including trauma and respiratory issues
• Manage patients with common childhood illnesses and more complex conditions
• Float to PICU as needed to provide additional support
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Requirements of the RN - Pediatrics - Travel

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Pediatrics
• BLS and PALS certification through AHA required
• Valid compact or IN RN license
• Experience in a 400+ bed facility with similar acuity (L2 trauma) required
• Proficiency with EPIC systems
