Real Estate Acquisitions Manager

Are you an extroverted, entrepreneurial professional interested in real estate investment?

Our client, a growing family office operating at the intersection of gaming, real estate, fuel, and retail, is looking to add a Real Estate Acquisitions Manager to their team.

The Acquisitions Manager will play a hands-on role in identifying, evaluating, and executing new real estate opportunities that align with our growth strategy. This includes projects ranging from fuel centers to gaming-anchored retail and mixed-use developments.

This is an entrepreneurial position — you’ll be expected to think creatively, take initiative, and work directly with leadership on critical decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities will include sourcing opportunities, running financial analyses, coordinating diligence, and supporting negotiations with sellers, lenders, and partners.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, is comfortable wearing many hats, and brings both analytical rigor and practical judgment to complex transactions.

What You’ll Do

  • Source Deals : Build a pipeline of opportunities through broker relationships, cold outreach, and market research
  • Underwrite Investments : Develop financial models and creative capital stack structures (senior debt, preferred equity, sale-leaseback, etc.) that maximize returns
  • Drive Execution : Manage due diligence, zoning, environmental reviews, and closing processes across multiple deals
  • Collaborate : Work closely with development, operations, and capital markets teams to align acquisitions with long-term strategy
  • Think Like an Owner : Identify risks and opportunities others miss; bring forward new ideas that shape how we grow

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, development, private equity, or investment banking
  • Strong financial modeling skills — you’re fluent in Excel and comfortable building IRR/ROI scenarios from scratch
  • A deal-making mindset — you like negotiating, structuring, and thinking through how to make deals work for all parties
  • Entrepreneurial spirit — you don’t need layers of process or permission to move a project forward
  • Bonus points for experience in fuel centers, convenience retail, or gaming real estate
