Quality Improvement Specialist

Quality NurseResponsible for coordinating the Organizations clinical quality measurement, reporting, auditing, and performance improvement activities. The Quality Nurse collects, validates, analyzes, and reports UDS, HEDIS, payer, grant, and internal quality measures; serves as a primary resource for Azara DRVS; monitors patient care gaps and follow-up activities; prepares quality meeting reports and materials; and supports corrective action and improvement initiatives. The position works collaboratively with clinical, operational, billing, information technology, and leadership teams to improve data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and patient outcomes and may serve as a delegated or designated official for authorized reporting systems and portals.Experience in healthcare administration, public health, health information management, nursing, business administration, data analytics, or a related field preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. Two (2) years of experience in healthcare quality improvement, clinical reporting, population health, medical auditing, or a related area preferred. FQHC or community health center experience and knowledge of UDS, HEDIS, Azara DRVS, electronic health records, and Microsoft Excel are strongly preferred. Must demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and confidentiality skills.
