Auto Repair Technician | 1st Shift | $23–$27/hr | Diagnose and repair vehicles in shop environment

Client is a fast-paced automotive service center focused on diagnostics, repair, and vehicle maintenance. This role supports mechanical and electrical repair operations while maintaining safety and quality standards. Team members contribute to efficient service and customer support.

Auto Repair Technician Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 23.00 to $ 27.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on vehicles
• Perform inspections, tune-ups, preventive maintenance, and test drives
• Replace faulty parts and ensure proper vehicle function
• Update service records in the client system (Dealer Track)
• Support service center operations through communication and teamwork

Auto Repair Technician Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license required 3–5 years of automotive repair experience required
• Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and technical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
• Basic computer skills preferred
• ASE certification preferred but not required
• Ability to perform physical work including lifting 5–40 lbs and standing for extended periods

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
