Position Summary

As a Parts Cashier / Customer Experience Specialist , you'll serve as a critical connection between our customers, service advisors, technicians, and parts department. You'll help ensure transactions are processed accurately, customers are greeted professionally, and every interaction reflects the high standards of the Mac Haik Automotive Group.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, organization, multitasking, and being part of a winning team.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service Excellence

• Welcome customers with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a customer-first attitude
• Create a positive and memorable experience for every guest visiting the dealership
• Assist customers with questions regarding repairs, parts purchases, service recommendations, and appointment scheduling
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally while ensuring satisfaction
• Direct calls and inquiries to the appropriate departments efficiently

Cashiering & Transaction Processing

• Accept payments for repairs, parts, accessories, and services via cash, credit card, financing, or check
• Accurately process transactions and provide receipts
• Issue refunds and credits in accordance with dealership policies
• Maintain accurate transaction records and help reconcile daily receipts and invoices
• Ensure all financial transactions are handled accurately and securely

Service & Parts Support

• Schedule customer service appointments and follow-up communications
• Assist service advisors and parts personnel with administrative support
• Print repair orders, invoices, estimates, and supporting documentation
• Review technician recommendations and help communicate next steps to customers
• Support service reminder programs and customer retention initiatives

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with service advisors, technicians, parts specialists, and management
• Help keep the customer lounge, cashier area, and front counter organized and presentable
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere focused on customer satisfaction and operational excellence

Qualifications & Skills

• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Basic math proficiency and cash-handling accuracy
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership management systems
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dealership environment
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented mindset
• Previous cashiering, receptionist, customer service, banking, hospitality, or dealership experience preferred but not required
