Quality Control Inspector

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client, a Global iconic Retail Brand, is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to help inspect luxury products in their warehouse in Vineland, New Jersey. This is an ongoing temporary position with potential to extend based on performance and the needs of the business. We are looking for someone with a strong attention to detail and a genuine care for the quality of their work as this person will assure the quality of merchandise from vendors meets the company’s standards according to guidelines.Shift time:8am-4:30pmJob Duties Include:Inspect finished merchandise ensuring the required standards are metRe-condition and/or re-process, when and where possible, all the products that fail inspectionInspect incoming damages from retail stores, assess the quality level, and record findings on a manual log sheetAccurately fill out and submit daily reports for all inspections and re-processing activitiesTake pictures of materials that fail inspection according to company standardsUse handheld pallet jack to move pallets and assist with physically moving stock in and out of the departmentAd hoc duties as assignedJob Qualifications Include:Strong attention to detail with follow throughFollows direction and take the lead on daily tasksPrevious experience with reprocessing – seamstress, sewing, using steamers/irons, etc preferredWorks diligently while not needing direct supervisionAbility to read, write and speak EnglishAbility to stand for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift up to 50lbsThis is a temporary position. The worker will be employed and paid by PCG.Compensation: $17.50/hrBenefits: Temporary employees through PCG may be eligible benefits after a waiting period, such as health insurance, dental and vision plans, paid holidays, and participation in our incentive savings program.
