Description The Guidance Center (TGC) is the Community Mental Health Center and Certified Behavioral Health Clinic serving Leavenworth, Atchison, and Jefferson counties in Kansas. The Guidance Center (TGC) is currently seeking a CSS Clinician to be the newest member of our innovative interdisciplinary team. This position is responsible for providing clinical services to clients served by the Community Support Services team. Primary Duties: Provide intake assessments and initial treatment planning for CSS clients. Provide psychotherapy (individual, family, and group) and on-going treatment planning both in office and off site as needed. Provide minimum of two appointment hours per week after 5 pm Work additional hours when needed to complete required work. Provide daytime crisis services when needed. Ensure that all clinical services provided follow clinical guidelines of The Guidance Center and regulatory bodies. Understand direct service requirements and efficiency goals established by TGC for the position and achieve same. Provide documentation (clinical notes, reports, and other professional products) which complies with TGC's Quality Improvement standards and the requirements of all funding sources. Be able to organize work to meet direct service expectations and Center requirements Adapt to changing work priorities and a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND LICENSURE: Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy or ProfessionalCounseling, and licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as a LMSW, LMLP,LMFT, LPC, LSCSW, LCP, LCPC OR LCMFT by the first day of employment EXPERIENCE: Preferred: two semester’s master-level practicum experience in a clinical setting providing assessmentand therapy services; post master’s clinical experience, and experience with the Kansassystem of community-based mental health care and associated evidence-based practices.
