Highlights Location: Hackensack, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Implement age and disease-specific care in an organized manner. Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation. Administer medications utilizing bar-scanning technologies. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Requirements Education: Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required; BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years preferred. Experience: Six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program. Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey. BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
