HVAC Service Technician Phoenix, Arizona

Your Impact Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on cell‑tower sites. This fast‑paced and rewarding role is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self‑directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and eager to learn and grow in the telecom industry. This is a regional position – candidates must reside in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Core Responsibilities Maintain cooling systems – diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, or install and replace components of entire systems. Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment. Perform additional maintenance or upgrades on out‑of‑season HVAC equipment. Respond to service calls promptly, including emergency call‑out services. Complete daily work reports accurately and in a timely manner. Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally, complying with Pearce Employee Handbook and insurance requirements. Core Experience Must be Level2 or Universal EPA Certified. 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred). Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems, is preferred. Must communicate effectively both verbally and by email. Demonstrated ability to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA standards. Requirements also include availability for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs, extensive daily travel, occasional overnight stays (company pays all travel costs and provides per diem), driving to remote work sites, exposure to outdoor ambient temperatures, lifting and moving equipment up to 50 pounds, and passing a Department of Transportation physical test. Compensation Hourly rate: $30.00–$38.00, dependent on experience. This range reflects Pearce’s commitment to pay equity and compliance with state and federal pay transparency laws.
