Job Summary

The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Springfield, Illinois, within an acute care hospital setting. This role involves providing specialized care within the interventional and diagnostic cardiac catheterization lab, supporting adult patient procedures such as left and right heart catheterizations and pulmonary artery line monitoring. Candidates are required to bring their Illinois nursing license on the first day of assignment.

• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Illinois license, ACLS and BLS certifications, minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional or diagnostic cardiac catheterization labs, Cerner experience, and at least 0 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing comprehensive cardiac catheterization procedures including adult diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, right and left heart catheterizations, procedural sedation administration and management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and monitoring sedation.
• Additional Information: The candidate must have experience with procedural sedation monitoring and management of dysrhythmias. Vaccinations required include the flu vaccine. Candidate placement requires references, pending references are acceptable. Candidates must be compliant with all vaccination and licensure requirements prior to start. This is a travel position with a minimum of 36 hours guaranteed weekly, and candidates will float within scope if needed. Submission requires 2-3 interview time options.
