Preschool Teacher - Subsitute

About This Role

Looking for a qualified Early Childhood Teacher Substitute for our preschool, Parish Day School of Eastern Shore Chapel, implement developmentally appropriate activities for preschool aged students that encourage the spiritual, cognitive, social, emotional and physical growth of the children.

What You'll Do

Duties include staying in the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) Standards for Licensed Child Day Centers, the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), Ready Region/CLASS rated standards and the standards for the National Association of Episcopal Schools (NAES).

Requirements

Schedule varies based on need.
Early Childhood degree or degree seeking preferred.

Parish Day School offers an uplifting and encouraging environment for children to grow and learn through play. Our teaching team works together preparing hands on activities for the children. Training is provided to all teachers. Parish Day School is closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas Break, Spring Break, and July 4th week. 12-month Full Time employees will qualify for benefits.
