Male Home Care Aide (TH 10am to 2pm)

Home Care Aide We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Aides. As a Home Care Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized and supportive care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities: Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals based on clients' dietary preferences and restrictions. Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility challenges by providing assistance with walking, transfers, and exercises as prescribed by healthcare professionals. Companionship: Engage in friendly conversation, companionship, and recreational activities to promote emotional well-being. Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and maintaining a clean and organized living environment. Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed. Monitoring Health Conditions: Observe and report any changes in clients' health conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals or family members. Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided, including daily activities, observations, and any changes in clients' conditions. Communication: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other team members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred. Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow care plans and adapt to the changing needs of clients. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if transportation is required for the role). Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Working Conditions: This position may require flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate clients' schedules. Home Care Aides may work independently or as part of a team, providing care in various home settings.
