Area Coordinator - FreezerThis position is responsible for materials receiving, storage, transfer, inventory accuracy, general housekeeping, and sanitation at one or more 10,000 square foot storage sites. Primary duties include receiving, unloading, and verifying incoming materials, supplying materials and product to production areas, and verifying the accuracy of receipts, transfers, and stored materials. This position works closely with the shift supervisor and EWM specialist to identify and resolve problems regarding the timely movement of materials in storage and the fulfillment of customer orders.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMajor responsibilities of the position are listed below. Other duties, assignments and specific projects may be assigned at the discretion of executive managementTake attendance and provide work direction and priorities to a team of 10+ Ticket Processors in the printing and production of ticket loads. Ensure productivity, accuracy and cost controls are met or exceededUse Warehouse Management System to research/gather informationDemonstrate proficiency in department processes and troubleshoots problems andImpact retention positively by fostering a respectful team environment that supports Workplace Values through professional communication, motivation and timely problem resolutionProvide one on one or group hands-on training for new and returnee associates on all functional aspects of the ticket processingProvide constructive and timely feedback on performance utilizing department tracking tools andMaintain constant communication with Supervisor to ensure efficient workflow.
