Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAbout the Role:Tersteeg Transport Inc is looking for a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join their team in Olivia, MN! If you take pride in safe, on-time delivery and love life on the road, we want to hear from you.This position is 100% local hauling and would be home daily.Hour of work will vary depending on customer demand. There is no minimum or maximum of guaranteed hours per workweek.Salary:Yearly - $90,000 - $120,000Paid Bi-weeklyResponsibilities:Operate commercial truck to transport and deliver freight safely and on schedulePerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT complianceMaintain accurate driver logs and records in accordance with FMCSA regulationsUnload cargo as neededCommunicate effectively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and delivery statusAdhere to all federal, state, and local traffic and transportation lawsMaintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all timesRequirements:Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safetyMust be 21 +Must be able to operate a live bottom/ belt trailer (experience with operation of belt trailer is appreciated)Manual transmission certifiedKnowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rulesAbility to operate and maneuver large commercial vehicles in various conditionsStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screenPrevious commercial driving experience preferredAbout Us:Tersteeg Transport Inc is a trusted transportation company proudly serving the Olivia, MN area and beyond.
