HR Intern

This role is an onsite HR Intern position supporting two (2) facilities in Connecticut and will assist with a variety of HR administrative and operational activities. Your Key Responsibilities Support recruiting efforts for hourly positions, including scheduling, candidate communication, and interview coordination Assist employees with basic HR-related tasks and questions Perform administrative duties such as filing, document organization, and record maintenance Help build presentations and prepare materials for meetings and projects Provide data support, including tracking, updating, and organizing HR information Assist the HR team with special projects and other duties as assigned Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge. Prepare and present reports summarizing learning and contributions during the internship. Your Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree or completed degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism Detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee Schaeffler is an equal employment opportunity / affirmative action employer.
