Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Basis Consultant to support SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, S/4HANA implementation or migration, HANA database administration, system upgrades, and production support.

The consultant will work closely with functional, ABAP, Security, Integration, Infrastructure, and Database teams to ensure system stability, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide SAP Basis administration and technical support for SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments.

• Support S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, and ECC-to-S/4HANA migrations or conversions.

• Perform HANA database administration, system monitoring, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting.

• Manage SAP system installations, system refreshes and copies, kernel upgrades, patching, Support Packages, and SUM activities.

• Manage STMS and transport operations, RFCs, background jobs, system dumps, spool requests, and performance monitoring.

• Support SAP Fiori/Gateway, Web Dispatcher, Cloud Connector, and system interface/connectivity issues.

• Provide L2/L3 production support, incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), and change management.

• Collaborate with functional, ABAP, Security, Integration, Infrastructure, and Database teams to resolve technical issues.

• Maintain system availability, performance, stability, and operational standards.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP Basis experience supporting SAP S/4HANA and ECC environments.

• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA implementation, upgrades, or ECC-to-S/4HANA migration/conversion.

• Experience with HANA database administration, monitoring, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting.

• Experience with system installation, refresh/copy, kernel upgrades, patching, Support Packages, and SUM.

• Strong knowledge of STMS/transports, RFCs, background jobs, dumps, spool, and system performance monitoring.

• Working knowledge of Fiori/Gateway, Web Dispatcher, Cloud Connector, and interface/connectivity support.

• Experience with L2/L3 production support, incident management, RCA, and change management.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
