Employment Type Full-time Requirements Dentrix Eaglesoft Licensed dental hygienist Open Dental Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Tennessee. A friendly, professional demeanor and a commitment to detail. A "can-do" spirit and the ability to stay organized in a busy practice. Clinical Excellence: Strong clinical skills and a focus on thorough, gentle patient care. Communication: The ability to explain procedures and oral hygiene instructions clearly and kindly. Tech-Savviness: Familiarity with OpenDental software is a definite plus. Experience: Previous clinical experience is preferred, but we value the right attitude and work ethic above all. Job Description Preventative Care: Performing thorough dental cleanings (prophylaxis), scaling and root planing, and applying fluoride or sealants as needed. Patient Assessment: Conducting oral cancer screenings, charting conditions of decay and disease, and taking high-quality digital X-rays. Education & Consultation: Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and collaborating with the Dentist to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Clinical Documentation: Maintaining accurate and timely patient records within OpenDental software. Sterilization & Safety: Ensuring all treatment rooms are sterilized and organized according to OSHA and CDC guidelines. Team Collaboration: Assisting the clinical and front-office teams to ensure a smooth, efficient patient flow.
