Senior UI Engineer

Our client is seeking a Senior UI Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team responsible for building and enhancing customer-facing web experiences. This engineer will take ownership of new features from technical design through implementation, testing, and release while collaborating closely with design, QA, and cross-functional engineering teams.


This is an opportunity for an experienced frontend engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving application performance, and building scalable, maintainable React applications. The team is also heavily investing in AI-assisted development workflows, making this an ideal role for someone who embraces modern engineering tools and can help drive AI adoption across the development process.



THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU


As a Senior UI Engineer, you will help architect and develop new features while improving existing functionality across a modern web platform. You'll partner with designers to translate UI concepts into production-ready applications, participate in sprint planning, support monthly release cycles, and ensure code quality through best engineering practices.


This role requires someone who is proactive, enjoys identifying improvements beyond assigned work, and can independently drive technical solutions from concept through production.



KEY SUCCESS FACTORS (Top 3 Must-Have Skills)

1. Advanced React Development

• Architectural-level React development experience
• Strong JavaScript and modern frontend development skills
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable application architecture
• Experience with performance optimization, debugging, and code quality best practices

2. GenAI & AI-Assisted Development Experience

• Experience incorporating AI into daily software development workflows
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or similar tools
• Ability to leverage AI to improve engineering productivity and software quality

3. Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

• Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
• Understanding of how frontend applications integrate with AEM
• Familiarity with AEM capabilities, limitations, and content management workflows

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with end-to-end, unit, and performance testing
• Strong understanding of software quality and testing best practices
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with sprint-based development
• Experience owning features from architecture through production release
• Self-starter who proactively identifies improvements and drives technical solutions
• Experience supporting frequent production release cycles in large-scale enterprise applications
