Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join the imaging department at Doctors Hospital of Augusta. The position involves operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes while providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans using GE equipment following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Ensure patient positioning and comfort throughout the imaging procedure.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Meditech system.
• Adhere to hospital policies, dress code, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with medical staff to optimize imaging procedures.
• Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:

• ARRT MRI Certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience.
• Proficiency in operating GE MRI systems.
• Strong understanding of patient safety and MRI procedures.
• Ability to follow detailed protocols and documentation processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
