Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Goldsboro, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by post orders.
• Observe loading docks, shipping and receiving activity, and employee entry and exit areas for unauthorized access or policy concerns, and report findings to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
