About the Position

Start: ASAP
Work Schedule: 2 8s and 2 10s per week. PACU: M-F start times fluctuate between 0730-0830 Thursdays always start at 0830

Requirements

"All clinicians submitted to CHKD orders must have a current flu vaccine. Please note that CHKD does not accept clinicians without a flu vaccination during flu season, and no exceptions will be made."

Patient Populations: We see everything Short Procedures: EGDs, BMTTs, MRIs, T&As, DLBs, etc. Bigger Cases: Pectus Excavatum Repair, Spinal Fusions, Cardiac Caths, EVDs, Breast, Reductions, Ortho, Skills: Arterial lines, Trachs - home vents, precedex drips, chest tubes, drains, foleys

Focus: Airway Management, Scoring -Modified Aldrete Score, Assessment/VS, Medication Administration, Discharge Teaching Phase 1: 1 on 1 w/ patients Monitor every 15 minutes Phase 2: 1 on 1 or 1 RN to 4 patients in Stepdown Monitor Q1 at least - Get Ready for Discharge

Communication: Anesthesiologists: Manages all our medication orders, signouts, and assists with stats Surgeons: Manages d/c orders & instructions, wound issues, radiology orders..
