Step Into the Role

Picture your day beginning with a quick status huddle on overnight alarms, then moving straight to the line where a conveyor gearbox is running hot. You isolate, lock, and tag the system, pull the assembly, and replace worn bearings before shift change. After lunch, you’re tracing a 480V starter fault on a mixer motor, reviewing an Allen‑Bradley PLC input card to confirm the signal path (no programming required), and finishing with a round of preventive maintenance to keep production on track.

What You’ll Own

• Reliability-focused maintenance across process and packaging equipment in a GMP manufacturing environment
• Approximately 70% mechanical and 30% electrical work, balancing hands-on repairs with diagnostics
• Rapid troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues to minimize downtime
• Service and rebuild of conveyors, mixers, pumps, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, bearings, and rotating equipment
• Electrical work up to 480V: motors, VFDs, starters, relays, contactors, and associated industrial wiring
• Allen‑Bradley PLC-controlled equipment troubleshooting (I/O, sensors, interlocks; programming not required)
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to guide repairs and improvements
• Root cause analysis to drive sustainable fixes and improved equipment uptime
• Strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and all plant safety standards

What You Bring

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Expert mechanical troubleshooting with solid hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge
• Hands-on experience with 120/208/240/480 VAC systems and industrial electrical components
• Exposure to Allen‑Bradley PLC-controlled machinery (troubleshooting only)
• Proven ability to prioritize independently and manage multiple maintenance tickets

Preferred Extras

• Welding and fabrication exposure
• Forklift and scissor lift operation
• Basic pipefitting
• Background in GMP settings such as food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or chemical

Environment & Safety

Work is performed in a GMP production facility. You’ll have the right tools and are expected to wear required PPE—including steel-toed boots, hearing protection, respirators, and task-specific protective gear.
