This full-time contract opportunity serves a birth-to-five program, including Head Start and Early Head Start, across three welcoming sites—with a convenient home base provided for your work. You’ll play a key role in helping young children build important communication skills while providing guidance and encouragement to their families and colleagues.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current and valid SLP license for work in schools
• Experience serving birth-to-five populations, especially within early intervention or preschool settings
• Strong understanding of IEP/ISSP writing and implementation, with the ability to collaborate closely with district staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for partnering with parents, home visitors, and multidisciplinary teams
• Comfortable working in multiple site locations with some local travel

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and program planning for children ages birth through five
• Work collaboratively with district teams to develop and implement IEPs, supporting compliance and best practices
• Mentor and assist home visitors as needed, including participating in ISPP/IEP meetings or calls
• Foster meaningful partnerships with parents, offering resources and techniques to empower their involvement in their child’s progress
• Deliver services across multiple locations, utilizing a supportive home base for planning and documentation
• Ensure thorough documentation and contribute positively to a welcoming, supportive learning environment
