Job Opportunity – Cath Lab Technologist – Portland, OR 97225

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Portland, Oregon metropolitan area

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (06:00 - 16:00). On-call required for weekdays and weekends with 30-minute response time. Weekend coverage required; 12-hour shifts may be needed during staff shortages. Patient ratio 1:3.

Highlights:

• 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital with comprehensive cardiovascular services
• 7-room Cath Lab performing cardiac, vascular, neuro, interventional radiology, and structural heart procedures
• Daily census of approximately 25 patients with diverse procedural volume
• Epic charting system with modern fluoroscopy equipment
• 40-hour paid orientation to ensure successful onboarding
• Free parking provided for all staff

Requirements:

• Active Radiology Technologist license (Oregon OBMI license required to operate fluoroscopy; may submit with pending license)
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience as a Radiology Technologist
• Qualified to operate fluoroscopy equipment within the Cath Lab setting
• Ability to scrub cases preferred
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and CCI RCIS or ARRT
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, and PTCA
• Neuro procedural experience preferred: diagnostic carotid/cerebral angiograms, stroke thrombectomy, and cerebral coil embolization
• Proficiency in sterile technique, room circulation, and scrubbing to maintain sterile field
• Must have reliable transportation
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
