Our programs support multiple Federal agencies, the Department of Defense and often focused on the space initiatives of our government customers.I2X Technologies is seeking a Systems Administrator to support ongoing activities for a customer at Eglin AFB, FL. This position will be on-site and will require an active TS/SCI.Analyze, configure, and optimize enterprise servers, workstations, and Internet systems, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable operations.Monitor and test systems and web applications to ensure continuous availability and performance.Perform network modeling, systems analysis, and capacity planning to integrate hardware and software effectively.May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists.Administer network security measures in accordance with DoD and organizational policies.Maintain a robust library of computer system images for functions commonly used across the squadron, allowing rapid builds of new systems, as requirements dictate. The images shall be maintained at the lowest classification level that the software tools employed on the images allow.Develop and manage automated software-license tracking and compliance solutions.Assist Help Desk in time of excessive calls or staff shortagesEnsure that versions/service packs for all software are kept up to date.Provide server administration services in accordance with DoD regulations and coordinate as necessary with external Information Assurance offices.General understanding of multiple operating systems to include Windows and Linux variants.Implement data-backup and recovery strategies to prevent data loss and ensure continuity.Interface regularly with customers to address issues and ensure compliance with pertinent regulations related to IT.Support hardware and software lifecycle management, including submission and tracking of Computer System Requirements Documents (CSRDs).QualificationsBS Degree desiredMust be willing to work a second shift with the hours of Monday through Thursday 2:30 PM to 1:00 AMKnowledgeable in Virtualization, Network and Server background, Knowledge in VMWare, Linux, MS Server, SQL, Patching and STIG'ing5-9 years of experience requiredCurrent IAT level II Certification requiredExperience supporting computer systems, networks and servers up to the TS/SCI level (JWICS)Experience installing configuring routers, switches, hub and other network devicesBe able to access and configure ServersExperience with Linux and WindowsTS/SCI Clearance requiredEssential Requirements:US Citizenship is requiredTS/SCI Clearance requiredAdditional Information: In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is listed.
