The ideal candidate will drive testing of multiple projects within the portfolio leveraging next gen automation solutions, AI driven technologies and smart quality strategies.Location: Chicago, IL, USAExperience: 14-18 Years (Minimum 8 years in Quality Engineering and 5 years in leadership role)Business Domain: Custody Banking, Payments, Liquidity and TradesBanking Products: Flex cube / Bancs/ LME/ GPP/MTS/ Polaris LMSPayment System: CHAPS, SEPA, CREST, RITS, AustraClear, FEDwire, ChipsTools: Azure Devops, Selenium with Java, DevOps concepts, CI-CD implementationGood to have: Exposure to AI based QE solutioningJob Description and Principal ResponsibilitiesThought leadership, consultation, mentoring & guidance for test automationAdvance product quality via testing innovations and process improvementCollaborate with BAs, Architects & Developers in designing testable applicationsTechnical roadmaps & plans for implementing enterprise/program test strategiesDesign & manage technical proof-of-concept and feasibility studiesResolve technical issues, anticipate risks and ensure timely management escalationUtilize analytical skills in determining the root cause of defects & issuesInfluence and communicate effectively with both technical & non-technical audiencesAnalysis, optimization, improvement & maintenance of current test automation suitesMaster enterprise/program high-level business workflowsMentor junior SDETs to improve technical ability and effectivenessPromote and support implementation of automated CI/CT/CD pipelineDevelop & extend test automation frameworks for UI, Micro services & APIGuarantee compliance to automation framework, standards & best practicesFacilitate automated, on-demand test automation metricsEnsure automated tests are run early & often providing quick feedback to the teamSeek stakeholder feedback via test automation demosAccelerate test development process by leveraging existing assets, standards & best practices; Add new functions/methods to the libraries for continuous improvementExperience/ SkillsBS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology or equivalent14-18 years of overall experience with at least 8 years in quality engineering5-8 years of experience implementing test automation5-8 years of Experience in leading team of employee/contractorsExperience in multi-tiered, complex system design & architectureRequired Skills:Excellent knowledge of SDLC and Agile development practicesLead level exposure to Java, Selenium/LeanFT, BDD (Cucumber/JBehave), TestNG, Eclipse/IntelliJExperience with Devops/CICD toolset - Bamboo/Jenkins/Concourse, Maven, Git, BitBucketExpert in QA process, techniques & methodologiesForecasting, estimation & ROI analysisSolid analytical and problem-solving skillsBoth attention to detail & ability to rise above details to see broader implications & recommend strategic solutionsSelf-starter; Positive & adaptable; Multi-task in a continually changing environmentAbility to work independently and with a teamProven interpersonal and communication skills with technical & business partnersPreferred/ Recommended Skills:Proven ability to lead and collaborate in global, cross functional teamsFamiliarity with Banking/Financial domainExperience in leading large programsSalary Range:$114,700 - 194,900 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
