About the Opportunity
A partnership, not a seat to fill
1 Terra Vita Group is expanding our commercial line and looking to bring on an experienced commercial insurance agent — not to fill a seat, but to build a long-term partnership.
This is for a professional who already knows commercial insurance and is ready to run their own book with the backing of an established independent brokerage. We handle the carriers, the leads, and the back-office. You focus on writing business and growing.
We're being selective. We're adding a small number of commercial partners, and we're looking for someone who takes this seriously.

The Role
What You'll Do
- Write and manage a book of commercial insurance business
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across renewals
- Advise clients on the right coverage for their risk — as an advocate, not a salesperson
- Grow your book with the support, tools, and carrier access we provide
What We're Looking For
- Experience in commercial insurance (life insurance a plus)
- Active insurance license, or ability to obtain one
- Strong sales and client-relationship skills
- An entrepreneurial mindset — you want to build something of your own
- Able to work on-site in our Schaumburg, IL office (this role is not remote)
