Principal Consultant - MS (St. Louis)

Principal ConsultantThe Principal Consultant role is a balanced subject matter expert in positioning and architecting multi-offering solutions and articulating the positive business outcomes those solutions provide for our customers.Responsibilities include:Take leadership role in strategic account planning and execution that allows for multi-offering penetration, with focus on EMP and Managed ServicesFoster effective relationships throughout the client environment, from Executive teams through IT and independent Business UnitsInfluence and drive business and IT alignment within client organizationsLead strategic customer envisioning workshops and related assessmentsOperate as pseudo vCIO and/or vCTO for strategic customersDevelop trusted advisor status and become strategic leader among client's other partners and vendorsCreate and maintain strategic relationships to include facilitating meetings, quarterly business reviews, and strategic briefings to enhance generating valuable exchangesParticipate in Offering Boards with the respective leads of NWN's offerings to provide feedback and gain knowledge tied to road map, vision, and strategyCoach/Mentor/Support NWN Business Architect (BA) teamUnderstand and articulate at the expert level all NWN service offerings and capabilities.Maintains knowledge of market trends, technology trends, business challenges and priorities.Represent NWN with contractors, suppliers, customers, departments, and other parties as required.Optimizes and leverages available systems, tools, and resources including project tracking and reporting tools.NWN pipeline reporting within the account to the Sales Management team.Other responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications include:Experience collecting business and technical requirements at the C-levelBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience/military experience Preferred10+ years of experience with solution architecture for technology and managed services10+ years of experience working with high performing cross-functional teamsExperience creating business impact analysis (ROI/TCO/Value Engineering)Experience presenting at the CxO LevelHighly flexible, self-directed and with ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to exercise exceptional judgment where practices and policies are not clearly defined.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and potentially, multiple teams.Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills.Exceptional client facing communications and presentation skills.IT Service Management (ITSM) certification preferredAt least one major vendor certification (Microsoft MCSE, MCITP, CCDA, CCNP, CCIE, CCNA, VCP, Citrix CCEA, etc.).Travel: Local driving distance on a daily basis.Overtime: As required for support or implementation work.NWN provides a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being in and out of work.
