They will be able to clearly define and clearly articulate compelling solutions and will require an ability to quickly assimilate and apply complex technical information.Kitty Hawk Technologies is currently seeking a Systems Engineer with five (5) or more years of experience with Cameo System Modeler in support of Engineering Services to work in the Dahlgren, Virginia area.Key Responsibilities:Works as part of a team to support Navy modeling effortsDevelops mission architectures in collaboration with government customers to represent System of System and System interactionsDevelops system representations using authoritative sources of truth (ASOT) and defines traceability within the model(s) to source dataCollaborates with other Navy MBSE projects to support alignment initiatives through common ontology or project usagesMaintains configuration management of models using Teamwork Cloud or other project defined CM ProcessAdheres to existing project SysML, UAF, and project specific style guidanceParticipates in recurring Technical Exchange Meetings to align model development with project milestones and requirementsParticipates in MBSE Community of Practice (CoP) to support project alignment to Navy initiativesPrepares technical presentations, briefings, and papers to address model development statusWorks independently with minimal supervision/oversight in a team environmentRequired Qualifications:Five (5) or more years of experience in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) using SysML and Cameo System ModelerBachelor's degree in an engineering, scientific, or related technical disciplineActive Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility or active TS/SCI is requiredExperience with industry- standard architecture and modeling languages (SysML) and frameworks (DoDAF, UAF)Effective oral and written communication skills. Proficient with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPointMust be a quick learner who adapts easily to frequently changing requirements and thrives in an exciting environmentDesired Qualifications:Experience with Teamwork CloudExperience with US Navy, Joint, and/or DoD engineering effortsExperience of integrating technologies into operational- level architecturesExperience working alongside operational forcesExercise independent judgment and work autonomously with minimal supervisionStrong written and oral communication skills, the ability and willingness to multi-task, and capable of professionally addressing client questions and issuesWork Posture:Must be committed to working on-site at the Kitty Hawk office or government customer facility.
