Travel Job Title Therapist - Occupational Therapy Assistant Location Suffolk, VA Schedule / Job Type Full-time, Days shift, 40 hours per week Key Responsibilities Assist in implementing individualized therapy plans designed by the Occupational Therapist. Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and treatments. Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic activities, techniques, and care instructions. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care. Document patient progress, treatment interventions, and update plans as necessary under supervision. Ensure a safe, supportive, and clean environment during therapy sessions. Required Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Virginia. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Preferred Experience / Skills New grads are welcome to apply.
