This position offers the flexibility of working remotely, providing you the opportunity to manage your schedule while still participating in an inclusive and collaborative environment. While our therapists primarily work from home, regular virtual meetings with team members will be held to foster a strong sense of community and encourage peer support. We ensure our counselors have access to the necessary technology and resources to provide effective client care from any location.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations, applying standardized testing and interviews to accurately diagnose clients' mental health needs.

  • Devise and implement evidence-based treatment plans that cater to the psychological complexities of individuals, families, and groups.
  • \n
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, ensuring adaptable approaches tailored to each client.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and case managers, to create integrated care strategies for our clients.

  • Provide crisis intervention and guidance for clients in acute psychological distress, employing best practices to ensure their safety and stability.
  • \n
  • Engage with the community through outreach programs, workshops, and support groups aimed at raising awareness of mental health issues and reducing stigma.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients primarily encompass individuals from varied socio-economic backgrounds, including children, adolescents, and adults facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other behavioral health issues. You will have the chance to utilize your skills to help clients navigate their mental health journeys, addressing not just the symptoms but also fostering resilience and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

  • A fully licensed mental health professional with independent credentials such as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

  • A master’s or doctoral degree in fields like Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • \n
  • Exceptional communication abilities that foster rapport, trust, and open dialogue with clients.

  • Cultural competence to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds, considering their unique cultural contexts in treatment.
  • \n
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain precise, up-to-date documentation in compliance with state regulations and internal policies.

Preferred Experience\n

Previous experience in a community mental health setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and electronic health record systems will provide an added advantage. Experience conducting group therapy sessions is also considered beneficial, as we encourage collaborative means of healing among our clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
