Business Analyst / LIMS Analyst DeveloperClient: State of Utah – Department of Technology Services (DTS) / Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Location: Utah, USA Work Model: Remote – Candidate must be in Utah Job Type: Contract Duration: 1 Year Employment Type: W2 W2 Rate: $75/hrPosition OverviewOur client, the State of Utah Department of Technology Services (DTS), is seeking a Business Analyst / LIMS Analyst Developer to support and enhance LabWare LIMS v8, integrations, workflow optimization, reporting, and laboratory informatics initiatives.The selected candidate will work closely with scientists, the LIMS Supervisor, laboratory leadership, and laboratory personnel to communicate and implement enhancements to the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).The Utah Public Health Laboratory uses this system to house the configuration, rules, tests, and test data required to generate laboratory results for the following areas:Infectious Disease, including: Bioterrorism Response Lab, Chemical Threats Response Lab, Next Generation Sequencing LabToxicologyEnvironmental ChemistryThis role will work closely with the Section Chief Scientist, LIMS Supervisor, and laboratory personnel involved with specimen testing .
