SUPERVISORY MEDICAL SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Medical Support Assistant SupervisorThe Medical Support Assistant Supervisor at this level plans and directs MSA programs at the Medical Center underneath the Surgical Service Line. They have full responsibility for supervising subordinate MSA team leads and numerous advanced medical support assistants across the clinics, consult teams, and call centers.Assignments at this level include, but are not limited to:Supervising clinical support staff, including Medical Support Assistants, to ensure efficient daily operationsKnowledge of electronic health record systems is preferred (e.g., VISTA, CPRS, Insurance Capture Buffer, ISS and CTM (Consult Management)Monitoring and improving clinic performance metrics, including timeliness and scheduling accuracyEnsuring compliance with patient access standards, scheduling protocols, and organizational directivesCollaborating with clinical teams to streamline processes and improve overall clinic efficiencySupporting oversight of staffing, workload distribution, and operational prioritiesPerforming other duties as assignedWork Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm
