Field Technician

Field Technician – Irvine, CA Field Technician supporting geotechnical, environmental and landfill engineering projects. Responsibilities Perform geotechnical field investigations, inspections, and testing in support of projects Observe and document the installation and testing of geosynthetics Collect environmental and geotechnical samples (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, vapor, etc.) Operate and maintain field equipment (sampling pumps, gauges, GPS, data loggers, monitoring instruments) Complete field documentation such as field notes, inspection logs, job safety analyses, and chain‑of‑custody forms Assist with data collection, interpretation, and basic reporting Support quality control and quality assurance procedures Work closely with engineers, scientists, and project managers Follow all health, safety, and environmental protocols Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or technical training preferred) 0–2 years of relevant field, construction, environmental, or hands‑on experience Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions Ability to work with WORD and EXCEL Strong attention to detail and reliability Salary Range $24.00 – $26.00 per hour Benefits Flexible Work Environment Paid Parental Leave Medical, Dental, Vision Life and AD&D Insurance Short‑Term and Long‑Term Disability 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off + Holidays EEO Statement Verdantas is an EOE race/color/religion/sex/sexual orientation/gender identity/national origin/disability/vet. #J-18808-Ljbffr
