Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an Apprentice Carpenter for an immediate start in Salinas, CA!

• PAY: $30-$33/hour (based upon experience)
• HOURS: 50 hours per week
• SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday; 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• START DATE: ASAP
• DURATION: 2+ months

Apprentice Carpenter Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Carpenter to assist Journeyman Carpenters on a commercial construction project. This position will involve rough carpentry duties including building barricades, installing door and window trim, performing punch-list work, and assisting with general carpentry tasks as needed. Candidates must be comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and working in an active construction environment.

Qualifications for Apprentice Carpenter:

• 3+ years of carpentry or construction experience preferred
• Experience with rough carpentry, framing, trim work, and general construction labor
• Ability to use skill saws, cordless drills, hand tools, and other standard carpentry equipment
• Must have a tool belt and basic carpentry hand tools
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction tasks with minimal supervision
• Must be able to safely use hand tools, power tools, and required PPE
• Must be able to perform job duties requiring standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, twisting, and lifting throughout the workday
• Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves

Additional Requirements for Apprentice Carpenter:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation to the job site
