Job Summary Full‑time Emergency Medicine Physician required at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Virginia. Salary range is $225.00–$255.00 per hour; actual pay depends on specialty, experience, and performance. In Your Role Provide comprehensive care for adult patients, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Perform comprehensive history and physical assessments. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions. Order and interpret diagnostic labs and tests. Develop and evaluate individualized treatment plans. Prescribe pharmacological and non‑pharmacological interventions. Coordinate specialty referrals and consultations. Recognize and respond to emergent situations with life‑saving interventions. Educate patients and families on health maintenance. Advocate for patients’ rights and diverse needs. Participate in clinic meetings and daily safety huddles. Engage in continuing medical education and professional development. Demonstrate leadership, mentorship, and evidence‑based practice. Maintain regulatory compliance and documentation standards. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine. Current, valid medical license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia (or eligibility to obtain one). Active DEA registration. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
