Activity Specialist
Summit Bechtel Reserve
Position Overview Providing unique and enriching vacation experiences for guests through activity delivery and glamping quality. Key Responsibilities
- Execute, supervise, and provide guidance to a variety of activities offered, not limited to: Archery, throwing activities, aerial activities, and fishing appropriate for ages 6+
- Facilitate short tours of property while driving company van
- Assist guests with activity scheduling and creating a seamless experience
- Knowledge experts for on-site hiking trails, local adventures, and attractive family destinations
- Assists the glamping site in housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and lodging
- Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
- Perform additional duties assigned by SBR leadership
- Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbook
- Minimum age: 18+
- Preferred: Outdoor recreation experience
- Complete USA archery level 1 instructor or BSA archery rangemaster (training provided)
- Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)
- Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication
- Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily and ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record, including height/weight guidelines
- Housing : 10'x12' platform tent in Staff Camp | Uniform: Summit Staff Uniform | Work Hours : 45-55
- High emotional intelligence (such as self/social awareness and team dynamics)
- Positive and cheerful attitude with a strong customer-service focus
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn/develop hard and soft skills
- Ability to connect with individuals from diverse age groups, maturity, and backgrounds
- Provide at least one memorable moment that matters to a guest
- Contribute at least one improvement to department
- Receive two or more Staff Appreciation Cards from staff or guests
